In an effort to make Larchmere Road more pedestrian friendly the city is considering adding speed bumps to 4 sections of the street. If approved the speed bumps will be located at East 121st,126th,127th and 128th. The city hopes that the enhancements will help prevent accidents. Councilman Blaine Griffin has informed me that it will be difficult to add speed bumps to just Larchmere but that he is working with the city's Traffic Engineers for a solution. Stay Tuned.
