Progress on the construction of 28 micro unit apartment continues at 12607 Larchmere Blvd. The apartment complex developed by MRN Ltd. Each unit will measure at 436.3 feet.

Edwin's Closes While Cafe Indigo Opens.

February 18th was the last day of operations for Edwins and Edwin's Too Restaurants at Shaker Square. As you may have heard the owner Brandon Chrostowski will move both business to the former Nightown Restaurant space located in Cleveland Heights. In the meantime, the long-awaited opening date for Cafe Indigo has been set. The new coffee and ice cream shop will finally open on February 25th in the former spot Bigby's and Dewey's Coffee Shop.

Shaker Square Gets Its New Coffee Shop

The Observer has just learned from an inside source that the owner of the Unbar Coffee Shop located just a few blocks on Larchmere will be opening up a second location at the former Bigby/Dewey's Coffee Shop on Shaker Square. According to the source the new location will be come complete with a new fireplace similar to Deweys and will also serve ice cream. The new coffee shop with be called Cafe Indigo. From the looks of it a new fireplace has been placed in the middle of the still under construction facility.

Luxury Apartment Living now available at 121 Larchmere.

After 15 months since it unveiling in January 2000 the 121 Larchmere mixed use apartment and office building has finally been completed. The complex which has 88 units with monthly rents ranging from $995.00 for a studio up to $2240.00 for a 2 bedroom suite. It should be noted that all utilities are included into the rent including High Speed Internet. Amenities include a 24 hour Resident Lounge, Fitness Center, Pet Parlor, Bicycle Storage and Conference Rooms. All of the apartments suites offer large windows which allow for plenty of nature lighting and great views of the neighborhood. Each suite also feature stainless steel appliances, In suite washing and dryer, Luxury Vinyl floors and select units have private balconies. It should be noted as of this publishing all of the Studio suites and One Bedroom suites with a den have been leased.
